I would like to bring my friend, Tammy. She is having a rough time with family and work. She needs to find peace in her circumstances and be that extraordinary woman you wrote about. I would like to share the day with her. Just what we both need.
ReplyDeleteI heard about it here.

My brother in law was diagnosed with cancer and my sister has been his care giver. She is not a nurse, nor does she have children, but she definitely has the patience, compassion and grace that it takes to be all of the above. I would like her to have some time for herself to thank God for the cancer free screenings her husband has received. I would like to attend the conference with her to celebrate the prayers that have been answered.
ReplyDeleteI read about this opportunity in our local newspaper

One of my friends is going through a tough time right now and could really use the encouragement that this retreat has brought me in the past. Also, past incidents from my life keep popping up, which just brings back the pain all over again. So I guess we both could use this :)
ReplyDeleteI read about this contest in the Rise & Shine email.

I would like to bring my sister! She has not really attended church for quite some time and I would like to show her the light! How the Lord helps us to "Rise and Shine" each day and is our light in this world! I was e-mailed about the retreat and also saw it on the church website. I have always wanted to attend also. ReplyDeleteMy Extraordinary Woman in my life is my spiritual mentor, Cara. I would love to have her be refreshed and spoken Biblical truths to at the retreat bc she is always reminding me of Biblical truths. I have learned so much from her, in the most difficult time of my life. She is a gift from God.

This will be my 3rd Rise and Shine Retreat and I'm so looking forward to it!! My daughter is the one I would like to bring again.. This has been a really hard year for her and recently she had to make some difficult decisions about her teenage son who was recently diagnosed with Autism on top of ADD and other problems. We don't often have the opportunity to get away and just be ministered to. Rise & Shine has been a real blessing!! Love the updates and encouragement on Facebook!!

I want you all to know about my friend, Shayla! She co-facilitates the Mommies with Hope support group that I lead and she would be the person I would bring if we won the registrations. Shayla is a tremendous blessing in my life and and answer to prayer. Recently, Shayla experienced the loss of her precious baby boy Tate at 16 weeks along in pregnancy. This was her fourth loss. I had the amazing honor and privilege of walking alongside her through this and her faith and trust in God in the midst of such hardship demonstrate that she is an Extraordinary Woman by His grace alone! She continues to find her strength in Jesus and that's what makes her so special.
ReplyDeleteI heard about this giveaway from the R&S Team and on Facebook. I've been excited to share it with others as well!

I heard about this give away through the rise and shine website. I would like to nominate my sister in law. Her husband lost his job 3 years ago and she would never spend money on herself, but is always thinking of others, she is a very giving godly person she would do anything for anyone. She has taken her cousin into their house and cared for her for many many years with hardly any compensation. She loves the Lord and is very deserving to go to this retreat that I know will be another wonderful one like the last 2 years. My name is Fran Thank-you, kuennen@myclearwve.net
ReplyDeleteHello, the extraordinary woman who comes to my mind is my friend and mentor Teresa! She's had some difficult days and challenging circumstances this past year, but she clings to GOD and shines for Him. She is one who is honest, willing and available! She's always willing to listen and quick to point to Christ. She has been blessed by Rise and Shine in the past and I know God would bless her again this year!! Thanks for the give-away and for all the work I know you are doing!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning!! Thank you so much for offering this package for women. My friend and I got so excited about this retreat. We have known each other for almost 10 years and now that we live nearly 2 hours away from one another..God has blessed me with a sister.
ReplyDeleteIn the past year, this homeschooling Mama has been pregnant with their third child and actually, next weekend will be the day she gave birth to Lulu,(meaning precious, pearl, protected)who the doctors diagnosed early on with anencephaly. This sweet child was born without her skull. She never took a breath on this earth rather but my dear friend and her hubby held their baby and their other sweet children said their goodbyes..nearly their entire church sat in that hospital those days.
We prayed that whole pregnancy thru that God would heal Lulu! His glory would be revealed and He would be magnified. Well, a year later, God is still healing, my loving friend is lifting her hands. Some days are better than others. Now they are looking at the very real possibility of losing their home and having to declare bankruptcy..
I would really like to bless this Momma with a weekend away. I've arranged where we can stay and I'll do the driving..but can you help us? I haven't told you everything..if you are reading this would you pray for this family? We love them so much.
I heard about this through a friend. My email is cjbruinius@yahoo.com.
I believe my mom is an extraordinary woman! Her name is Miriam Kauten and she is the best mom anyone could ask for. She is a full time pediatric nurse and comes home to help care for my grandparents who have been living with us for a little over a year. My grandpa had an accident a while back and he has needed help with a lot of daily activities. She does so much for them and doesn’t complain about it. My mom has always been there for me and my two brothers. She also has 3 half children who she has helped support as they were growing up. She is always smiling and trying to help people even when she is so busy herself. She never has time for herself and I think this retreat would be a good getaway for her, to spend time with Jesus, other women, and to get away from her routine. My mom is always giving to people but never receiving and that is why I think she deserves this. I would love to attend rise and shine with her so we can spend some much needed mother and daughter time together and I want us to learn and grow in our relationship with Jesus together. I want to give her something to show her how much I care for her and I think this would be the most beneficial thing. Thank You so much for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. I pray and hope that if it is not my mom and me that get to go to this that it would be a woman who deserves it just as much.
ReplyDeleteI heard about this giveaway through a friend at church via a facebook message.

My extraordinary friend, Amy, is a strong Godly woman who has been a great friend for many years. We lean on each other for many trials big and small. We have relied on each other for advice, inspiration, and to share our moments of faith which usually turn out to be messages for both of us. I believe God uses our friendship in amazing ways to keep each other strong in our faith and to help us follow God's will for our family and ourselves.
ReplyDeleteI found this giveaway on Facebook, thank you for this wonderful opportunity!
